Roles

Directing

Directing is where I feel most creatively alive. I love shaping emotion, rhythm, and visual tone—especially in projects like music videos. I see directing as a deeply collaborative process, where the goal is not just to tell a story, but to create an environment where every contributor feels heard and inspired. Whether I’m working with actors, musicians, or crew, I’m always focused on bringing the best out of people while staying true to the heart of the project. I strive to create emotionally engaging work that sticks with people—and always lead with empathy and clarity on set.

Cinematography

Cinematography has become a key part of how I understand and approach visual storytelling. Through dedicated study, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for how light, colour, and framing work together to create mood and meaning. I had the chance to apply this knowledge as DoP on a recent documentary project, 'Recounting the Bruises'. This experience expanded both my technical skills and respect for the role, now informing how I approach every project, regardless of the position I’m in.

Photography

I've explored photography across a range of areas, from portraits and creative shoots to capturing live events. But I’ve especially loved working as a BTS and stills photographer on film sets. It’s where my two passions come together: photography and filmmaking. Whether it’s on university projects or external productions, there’s something deeply fulfilling about documenting people immersed in the creative process. No matter the story, there’s always beauty in those quiet, in-between moments, where collaboration, focus and emotion come alive behind the scenes.

Other Roles

Taking on roles like 1st Assistant Director in SCP and continuity supervisor (external projects) has taught me the critical value of preparation, communication, and calm leadership. I enjoy being the bridge between creative vision and logistical execution, making sure everything runs smoothly while supporting the director’s goals. These experiences have helped me become a more dynamic practitioner who understands and respects every crew role on set.
